The robberies occurred within an hour of each other, deputies said.
• At 3:25 a.m., a man wearing a mask and gloves was armed with a short-barrel shotgun entered the Speedway at 13179 U.S. 301 S in Riverview and demanded money before fleeing the scene, possibly toward The Grove at SouthShore apartment complex. No vehicle was seen.
Deputies say this was the third armed robbery at the location since Jan. 9, and the same suspect might be responsible.
• At 4:07 a.m., a suspect with short dreads, wearing a long sleeve white shirt and armed with a handgun entered the 7-Eleven at 10016 McMullen Road in Riverview and demanded money and fleeing the scene in a white vehicle, possibly a Nissan.
• At 4:25 a.m., a suspect matching the description of the second robbery entered another 7-Eleven at 16781 Fishhawk Blvd. in Lithia and fled in a similar vehicle.
Deputies say the 7-Eleven robberies possibly involve the same suspect.
No injuries were reported in the three robberies, deputies say.
According to Crime Stoppers, the suspect in the Speedway robbery is described as a male about 5 feet 5, with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a green Nike sweatshirt, blue pants, black and white shoes, gloves and an orange bear mask.
