A crash late Tuesday morning on Interstate 78 West in Upper Macungie Township resulted in injuries, according to a Lehigh County dispatcher.

A car and a tractor-trailer were involved just after 11:50 a.m. at mile marker 48.1 and the car rolled over, dispatches say.

Westbound traffic slowed to a crawl, but was still moving in both lanes at 12:05 p.m., as seen from the traffic camera at Route 100.

Pennsylvania State Police at Fogelsville, who are investigating the crash, said the left lane was blocked at the crash scene.

Just before 12:45 p.m., the lane reopened, a county dispatcher confirmed, and within minutes traffic began to flow freely again.
