One person died and another was injured in a head-on crash Monday in North Huntingdon.
The crash happened about 7:40 a.m. on Route 993 near Southside Drive when a Honda Civic crossed the center line and collided with a Ford F-350 pickup, township police Lt. Rodney Mahinske said.
The driver of the Honda, a male, died at Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville. Police have identified the victim but aren't releasing his name until relatives are notified.
The driver of the pickup was taken to Forbes. It's unknown how seriously he was injured.
Firefighters from Larimer, North Irwin and Irwin responded, as did North Huntingdon police and North Huntingdon EMS/Rescue 8.
