Portland police are investigating the shooting of a man Monday on Southeast 82nd Avenue.

Authorities say the man was seriously injured and has been taken to a local hospital. His condition is unknown.

Officers responded to the call at 2:38 p.m. and found the wounded man at 82nd Avenue and Ramona Street.

The man who called 9-1-1 was “involved in the shooting,” according to police. That man is cooperating and the gun is secure, authorities said.
