SAN ANTONIO — Flames engulfed a two-story, multi-family home on the Northwest Side Monday as police and fire battled the massive blaze that sent clouds of smoke pouring through the area.

Firefighters responded to the scene around 2:15 p.m. in the 2300 block of Fresno near Fredericksburg Road.

SAFD spokesman Woody Woodward said one of the units was occupied by a man, and the other was occupied by a man, woman, child and at least two dogs. No one was injured in the fire, according to SAFD.

The cause of the fire is still undetermined, and arson investigators have been called to the scene.
