The Yankees are taking a flier on Jon Niese.

The Yankees will give the veteran left-hander a physical Monday, an organizational source told The Post’s George A. King III. There is a minor league deal in place with an invite to spring training if Niese passes the physical.

Niese, 30, would offer the Yankees pitching flexibility, able to start and come out of the bullpen.

Niese spent the first eight seasons of his career with the Mets before getting traded to Pittsburgh in 2016. He struggled with the Pirates and was dealt back to the Mets in August.

Niese, who carries a career 69-68 record with a 4.07 ERA, appeared in six games in his New York return last season, and was hit hard, pitching to an 11.45 ERA, before he underwent arthroscopic surgery in his left knee.
