A 67-year-old woman was carjacked less than two blocks from the Magnificent Mile late Friday, police said.

She was in the front passenger seat of a 2014 Infiniti that was legally parked and running in the 700 block of North Wabash Avenue about 10:25 p.m., police said.

Two men or boys then exited a nearby Chevy Cruze and approached her. One of them pulled out a gun and forced her out of the car.

The two got into the Infiniti and drove north on Wabash. A third person followed them in the Cruze, which itself had been reported stolen.

Police have not found the Infiniti, and nobody is in custody.

The Chevy Cruze was found abandoned in the 1700 block of North Clybourn Avenue shortly after the incident. It had crashed into the rear bumper of a taxi and a light pole.
