Police busted the thief who robbed a postman for his mailbox master keys, authorities said Wednesday.
Gasim Kromah, 21, stuck his hand in his jacket pocket and pretended to have a gun when he mugged the mailman as he was delivering to a building on Ridge Boulevard near 93rd Street in Bay Ridge around 1 p.m. Monday.
The thief ordered him to hand over the master key that opens all of the boxes in the area and eventually fled with them following a brief struggle.
Kromah then jumped into a getaway car driven by his pal Jelmainer Reyez-Fortunato, 22, cops said.
On Tuesday afternoon, police found Kromah using the master keys to open op the boxes of a building not far from where the robbery took place, cops said.
He was charged with robbery, petit larceny, displaying a firearm, possession of stolen property and possession of burglars tools.
Reyez-Fortunato was also arrested and charged with petit larceny and possession of stolen property.
