CLEVELAND, Ohio – The 2017 Alternative Press Music Awards has its host.
Black Veil Brides’ frontman Andy Biersack will handle the duties for the show that returns to Cleveland, after a year in Columbus, on July 17.
Biersack, who recently released a solo album, has been an Alternative Press darling for years, landing on the cover of the magazine multiple times.
“I’m very excited, and I’m very thankful to do this,” Biersack told Billboard. “so I hope that comes across.”
Very little information about this year’s APMAs has been announced, including the headlining acts (Though Biersack and his band BVB is a safe bet) and the venue. The APMAs were previously held in Cleveland at the Q and Voinovich Park behind the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
