Comments: Valli did get another shot at Cranford’s Chris Scorese (#4 in the state by Wrestling Full Circle) in the North 2 Group 3 final and lost 5-3 after being pinned two weeks ago in a dual. That’s a real step forward but the Blue Streak senior stays where he was at No. 4 as there’s no room for promotion. Papcsy, who looks terrific, went 4-0 in a terrific week in PIAA 3A duals including a clutch fall against Pulli in the epic final loss to Nazareth. Be a tough top 4 to crack. Mills went 1-3 in his designated role of sopping up the opponent’s best wrestler with 3 decisions surrendered and no bonus. Not bad. Be fun to see what we can do individually — he was a state qualifier last season.
