The San Antonio Symphony was hacked Monday and employee data was stolen, the organization confirmed Tuesday.
Hackers took the names, birth dates, Social Security numbers and addresses of about 250 people, including the 72 roster musicians, staff members, substitute and extra players, symphony President David Gross said.
The data breach did not affect donors, ticket holders or vendors, Gross said.
The hack has been reported to the FBI, Internal Revenue Service and other law enforcement, he said. The people affected were notified by email Monday at the end of the business day.
