A Walt Disney World stage tech was arrested Monday and accused of sexually molesting an infant and possessing child pornography, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office said.

Richard Alton Morgan, 57, of Mascotte told deputies he had been downloading child pornography “for a few years” and that he has shared them online, according to an arrest report. The oldest child in the photos is about 6 years old, the report said.

A cyber crime task force discovered the images online, leading to Morgan and a warrant to search his home, sheriff’s Lt. John Herrell said. Deputies discovered photos that showed Morgan touching an infant girl, the report said.

“Detectives learned that this child, whom he admitted to molesting, is now in California,” Herrell said. “Late last night [Monday night], California authorities located the child and arrested her mother on molestation charges also. It is believed that the mother and Morgan met online.”

Deputies determined that the molestation of the infant occurred at Morgan’s residence because the “bedding in the background of the images of the infant” were also found in Morgan’s home, the report said.

Morgan admitted to deputies to molesting two other children, the report said. Those victims “range in age from 10 to 15 months old at the time the images were made,” Herrell said.

Deputies are concerned there may be  more victims and want to hear from parents of children who have spent time with Morgan.

Morgan is charged with 120 counts of child pornography and 56 counts of molestation. He was being held without bond in the Lake County Jail.
