A man was shot Monday evening in a private development in the Poconos and taken to a hospital, Pennsylvania State Police report.
The shooting was reported at 5:30 p.m. at 5151 Woodbridge Drive East in Saw Creek Estates in Lehman Township, Pike County, not far from the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, police said.

WNEP said the victim is 53 years old. A trooper from the Blooming Grove barracks said the man was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono in East Stroudsburg.
The trooper didn’t have a condition and couldn’t say if anyone was in custody.
The television station said one person was in custody. The Morning Call said the man was “badly wounded.”
