CLEVELAND, Ohio — Grab some peeno noir, it’s almost time to binge “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” again.
Netflix announced the Tina Fey-produced comedy will return for a third season on May 19. In a teaser, Titus Androdemon (Titus Burgess) is seen channeling Beyonce. Wearing the same dress from Queen Bey’s “Burn This” video, he goes all “Lemonade” on his boyfriend, Mikey, and takes a Louisville Slugger to both headlights. (Yes, I realize I’m mixing references here.)
“Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” stars Ellie Kemper as a woman adjusting to the world after being held captive by a cult for 15 years. In the season two finale, Kimmy reunited with her estranged mother (Lisa Kudrow).
The show went more than a year between seasons due to Kemper’s pregnancy.
