One month after Kathryn Marinello became chief executive of Hertz Global, Jeff Foland, the struggling auto rental company’s chief revenue officer, has decided to leave the Estero, Fla., company, it said in a regulatory filing.
Foland, who joined Hertz in January 2015 from American Airlines where he was the chief marketing officer, will receive $2.1 million in severance among other payouts.
Marinello, who is trying to restart Hertz’s growth engines, last week instituted structural changes to fast-track the decision-making process, according to the late Friday SEC filing.
