CLEVELAND, Ohio — Jordan Spieth led by six shots entering the final round of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am today (Feb. 12) in California.

Spieth shot 68-65-65 for 17-under 198 through three rounds. Brandt Snedeker was in second place. 

The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is the PGA Tour’s annual mix of talented players, celebrities and iconic venue.

Among others who competed for real: Jason Day, Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed, Justin Rose, Jimmy Walker and Phil Mickelson. Day is ranked No. 1 in the world.

The list of celebrities included: New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick, who won his fifth Super Bowl as HC last week; Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Young and future Hall of Famers Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers; hockey legend Wayne Gretzky; singing sensation Justin Timberlake; and actors Bill Murray, Mark Wahlberg and Ray Romano.

One of the three courses used is world-famous Pebble Beach Golf Links. Spyglass Hill and Monterey Peninsula CC Shore Course are the others.

Belichick was paired with Ricky Barnes; Timberlake, with Rose.

On Saturday, Timberlake nearly aced the par-3 7th hole at Pebble Beach GL.

His best result is 15th at the Safeway Open in October. … Brandt Snedeker set the 72-hole tournament record two years ago at 265. … Mickelson, Snedeker and Johnson each has won twice at Pebble over the last 10 years. … Spieth has finished in the top 10 in all three of his PGA Tour starts this year.
