Two teenage boys were arrested Saturday in connection with seven armed robberies on the city’s North Side.

The suspects, ages 14 and 16, are accused of robbing seven people early Saturday morning from about 2:15 a.m. to 4 a.m. in Bowmanville, Arcadia Terrace, Budlong Woods, West Rogers Park and Streeterville, according to a Chicago Police news release.

Police said the teens approached two women, ages 39 and 49 years old, produced a weapon and demanded their personal property, including the 39-year-old’s car. They later robbed five separate men, ranging in age from 21 to 54.

The teens were arrested after officers saw them exit a dark colored SUV, which was reported stolen. They are each facing seven felony counts of armed robbery and one count of attempted robbery with a firearm.
