A woman was taken to a hospital in critical condition after a Jeep hit her on the South Side on Saturday evening.
It happened about 5:30 p.m. in the 6900 block of South Western Avenue in the city’s Lithuanian Plaza neighborhood.
The woman, in her 20s, was hit by a Jeep Grand Cherokee that was northbound on Western Avenue, police said.
She was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where she was listed in critical condition, police said.
