A convicted killer threatened to go on a stabbing spree in a string of Facebook posts — but was arrested before any bloodshed could occur.
“I’m going on a stabbing spree until I understand what is wrong with me,” Antonio Holmes, 43, posted to Facebook at 3:30 a.m. Thursday.
Seven hours later, he wrote, “I’m about to catch a body.”
He began his rant Wednesday night with a threat to murder his ex-girlfriend.
“Killing her is the only way to get her out of my head because she will not act right,” he warned users on his friends list. “I’m walking around with my roommate’s butcher knife.”
But any potential harm was prevented however, when Holmes was arrested in Chelsea Thursday evening and charged with making terrorist threats.
He was taken to Bellevue Hospital for evaluation and later charged.
Holmes, who has nearly a dozen prior arrests since 1997, pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the 2000 killing.
He was released from prison in January 2015.
