KEY MATCHUP
Kane/Rielly
Evander Kane of the Sabres scored twice, including the game winner, in a thrilling 5-4 victory over San Jose on Tuesday night, overcoming a three-goal deficit in the third period. Kane has 14 even-strength goals since Dec. 3, most in the NHL over that span. Kane and teammate Jack Eichel are among the fastest skaters in the Eastern Conference and will be a handful for Leafs defenceman Morgan Rielly, still getting back up to speed after a long injury layoff.
