A 19-year-old man was wounded Friday morning in a shooting on the South Side in the Washington Heights neighborhood.
The shooting happened shortly after 9:45 a.m. in the 9000 block of South May Street, police said.
The victim suffered a wound to the right forearm, and was taken in good condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
No one was in custody, and police were investigating.
