CLEVELAND, Ohio — A Garfield Heights man is accused of breaking into a girl’s home and sexually assaulting her at gunpoint.

Phillip Hurt, 22, is charged with rape and aggravated burglary. He is not in police custody and a warrant was issued Tuesday for his arrest.

The incident happened Feb. 2 at the girl’s home on Bush Avenue on the city’s West Side between West 39th and West 46th streets.

Hurt climbed into the 16-year-old girl’s bedroom through a window, according to court records.

He forced the girl into her sister’s bedroom and raped her at gunpoint, court records say. Hurt then ran from the home.
