GRANVILLE — A Vermont woman was found with a more than half a pound of cocaine during a Washington County traffic stop Thursday, State Police said.
Troopers stopped 56-year-old Donna Larose of St. Albans, Vt., for a traffic violation Thursday morning and discovered her driving privileges had been suspended in New York, State Police said.
Larose had about nine ounces of cocaine and several antidepressant pills with her when she was stopped, troopers said.
Larose is charged with one count of first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A felony, and one count of misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance.
She was arraigned in Fort Ann Town Court and taken to Washington County Jail without bail.
