Illinois State Police was investigating late Wednesday a report of a shooting on the outbound lanes of Interstate 290.
About 8:40 p.m., police received a report of a shooting on the westbound lanes of I-290 near Morgan Street, troopers said.
Additional information about the shooting was not immediately available.
State police said the incident remains under investigation.
