VAN NUYS >> A 33-year-old Van Nuys man who allegedly slashed the tires of more than 20 vehicles in the Valley Glen area has been arrested on suspicion of felony vandalism, police said Wednesday.

Shai Igvi was arrested Tuesday evening, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Investigators had released security video, time stamped about 2:20 a.m. Monday, that showed a man in a short-sleeved shirt going from vehicle to vehicle, methodically cutting tires.

The vandalism occurred in the area of Woodman Avenue, Hatteras Street and Mammoth Avenue, police said.

Igvi was being held in lieu of $240,000 at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in downtown Los Angeles and was due in court in Van Nuys on Thursday, according to sheriff’s inmate records.
