Grand theft, Lynd Avenue: A series of activities involving cars, break-ins and thefts occurred on Feb. 4 on Lynd Avenue.
At 3:05 p.m. Feb. 4, a woman reported that her SUV was stolen from her driveway. The woman left the keys in the vehicle.
At 3:15 p.m. Feb. 4, a woman reported that her car was stolen sometime during the 20 minutes before she called police. The woman kept a spare key in the car and believes that, sometime during a break-in during the previous early morning hours, the thief found the key. The woman thinks the thief returned in the afternoon and stole the car.
At 7:51 a.m. Feb. 4, a resident reported that someone entered their car during the overnight hours and stole cash and other items.
At 6:05 a.m. Feb. 4, a man reported that two of his cars that were parked in his driveway were entered. Nothing was reported stolen.
Marital dispute, Aldersgate Drive: At 11:50 p.m. Feb. 5, a man went to the police station to report that his wife was refusing to give him their car for use and that she previously threatened him with a knife. Police had already taken a report on the incident involving the knife.
The man asked police advice on how to get back his car. The man was advised to contact his lawyer.
OVI, Cedar Road: At 9:40 p.m. Feb. 5, police stopped a man’s car due to a traffic offense and found that the driver was drunk. The man was arrested and charged with OVI and his car towed.
OVI, Richmond Road: At 11:20 p.m. Jan. 31, police stopped a car due to a traffic violation and found that the man driving was drunk. The man was charged with OVI and his car towed.
