BAYONNE — With snow in the forecast, Bayonne has announced specific steps it will take before the snow accumulates.
Regularly scheduled recycling will take place tomorrow between First and 30th streets, including Prospect Avenue, Avenue F, and Harbor Pointe. However, due to the impending weather, pickups will begin as early as 4 a.m. Thursday in order to get refuse trucks out of the way before the snow starts to pile up.
Residents should put out their recycling Wednesday night in order to work with the early morning pickup schedule.
The city has also announced that there will be no parking on parts of Broadway in order to prepare for plowing and snow-related emergency activities.
The no parking policy will be in effect on Broadway from 12:01 a.m. until 6 p.m. Thursday in the following areas: the West Side of Broadway from 17th to 30th streets, and the East Side of Broadway from 17th to 50th streets.
