Calling Artemi Panarin a magician on the ice would not be a stretch, as he possesses a tremendous amount of goal-scoring skill.
What fans didn’t know, however, was what tricks the Blackhawks forward literally has up his sleeve. Or more accurately, down his shirt.
In the fourth episode of the "Soup and a Sandwich" video series, co-host Brian Campbell is distraught by the lack of bread choices he has to go with the turkey set out before him.
"I have this … this … this … this … this bun here that I just do not prefer," Campbell says. "I really could use some rye bread."
Then it’s Panarin to the rescue. He reaches into his sweater and pulls out two slices of marble rye.
"You don’t often see that around people’s shirts," Campbell says.
Fully committed to the bit, the Hawks defenseman then takes a bite, his taste buds sated.
