I’d like to thank The Express-Times for reporting a positive, uplifting story (“Why this nurse is being recognized for his good deeds,” Feb. 7). We don’t see many, or at least enough, of these.

As for Kelvin Lashley, a great big congratulations to him! What a wonderful soul, going above and beyond, as if being a nurse or any health care provider doesn’t already show the compassion of a human being. God bless him and all he does for others.

He should know from community members as well as his peers how much of what he does day in and day out leaves a mark on everyone.
