A cold front will move across the region Wednesday morning with scattered rain showers and gusty winds, the National Weather Service said.
Some schools in outlying areas are delayed 2 hours Wednesday morning.

Temperatures should reach the mid 40s before colder air filters into the region in the afternoon into Wednsday night.
Another storm system approaches overnight, bringing widespread snow to the Capital Region late Wednesday into Thursday. Snow will be moderate to heavy from the Capital Region, southern Vermont and the northern Catskills south and east.
Here’s the forecast through the weekend:
Wednesday: A chance of rain before 7am, then a chance of showers between 7am and 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 46. West wind 14 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Wednesday night: Snow likely, mainly after 4am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 23. Northwest wind 7 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Thursday: Snow, mainly before 1pm. High near 25. North wind 7 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
Thursday Night: A slight chance of snow showers before 7pm, then a slight chance of snow showers after 1am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 10. Wind chill values as low as -1. Northwest wind 8 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Friday: A slight chance of snow showers after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 22. West wind 9 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Friday Night: Light snow likely, mainly after 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 13. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
