Texas music star Pat Green has been announced as post-game entertainment for the Missions’ Memorial Day Game May 28 at Wolff Stadium.

“I’m very excited that Grammy nominee Pat Green will be performing at Wolff Stadium this Memorial Day Weekend,” Missions president Burl Yarbrough said. “We always like to give our fans the best show in San Antonio each summer and I think Pat will definitely deliver.”

Green was born in San Antonio and grew up in Waco. He’ll be making his first appearance at the team’s games, joining a tradition that has also included performances in the past by artists such as Jack Ingram, Jerry Jeff Walker, Robert Earl Keen, Kevin Fowler and Wade Bowen.

The Missions will face the Springfield Cardinals that night game with first pitch slated for 5:05 p.m. Green’s performance will take place approximately 30 minutes after the game. A fireworks show will finish the evening’s festivities.

Individual tickets for the Missions’ May 28 game will go on sale March 2. But the game and concert are included in all season ticket packages and seven-game mini plans that are available now at the team’s offices.

Green announced last week he’s planning to build “The Rustic,” a bar and restaurant that will be located in the Rim and is tentatively scheduled to open later this summer.
