Fairview High School’s chapter of the National Honor Society is hosting its second annual silent auction to benefit foster care organizations in Boulder, Denver and Adams counties.

The auction will take place at Fairview High School, 1515 Greenbriar Blvd., on Wednesday and Thursday, and bidding is accessible online at about.silentauctions.co.

Students from ninth through 12th grade have gathered over 50 donations from local businesses to auction off to bidders. The proceeds will benefit various foster care organizations to support the 4,951 children in Colorado that have been removed from their homes and have experienced out-of-home placement in foster care, kinship care, group homes or residential treatment facilities, according to a news release.

The group is seeking donations from businesses and individuals to auction off, including gift cards, services and new items.
