A man and a woman found shot dead in a Brighton Park neighborhood home both died in homicides, the Cook County medical examiner’s office determined following autopsies Tuesday.
The woman was identified as Pricilla A. Gloria Reyes, 33, of the 2500 block of West 46th Street, the same block where the two were shot, according to a spokeswoman for the medical examiner.
Reyes died from a gunshot wound to the chest, according to the office. The man, who remains unidentified, died from multiple gunshot wounds. Their deaths were ruled homicides.
Police were called to the home in the 2500 block of West 46th Street around 7:30 a.m. Monday, according to police.
It wasn’t clear how long the bodies had been there or when the shooting took place.
Officials said the woman was 33 years old and had been shot in the torso. She was pronounced dead at the home.
The man also was pronounced dead at the location, after having been shot in the head. Authorities did not say how old he was.
