ESPN prospect guru Keith Law doesn’t want you to forget this name:

Dustin Fowler.

Law called the 22-year-old outfielder his sleeper prospect of the year for the Yankees.

He also named 18-year-olds Wilkerman Garcia, a shortstop, and Estevan Florial, an outfielder, runner-up candidates for the title.

Jeter vs. Brady: The bigger legend?

Here’s what you need to know about Fowler:

Where he’ll be: Fowler is expected to start the season in the outfield at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. He’s mostly played center field, but he could need to move to a corner spot to accommodate Clint Frazier, ranked the Yankees’ No. 3 overall prospect.

What he did last year: In 2016, Fowler hit .281 with 12 homers and 88 RBI for Double-A Trenton in 132 games. It was his highest single-season home-run total. He clubbed nine at Low-A Charleston in 2014.

Scouting report: Here’s what MLB.com says about him:

With the chance to be solid or better across the board, Fowler has some of the best tools among Yankee prospects. He has the left-handed swing and plus speed to hit for average … though he still needs to improve his plate discipline. He’s growing into his power and learning to steal bases, flashing the upside of a 20-20 player.

Fowler has worked hard with outfield instructor Reggie Willits to hone his defense. He spent the majority of his first two pro seasons on the corners but now looks at home in center, where his quickness and improved instincts help him run down flyballs. He also has improved his throwing …

Where he came from: The Yankees selected Fowler in the 18th round in 2013.
