I and the millions who marched Jan. 21 will “retain our sense of outrage.” Apathy and resignation will not seep into this movement to protect the democracy that we have all cherished but may have taken for granted. I stood in that crowd for several hours on Saturday, reading handmade signs, from a 7-year-old, which said, “No One Likes A Bully,” to a 70-year-old with a sign reading, “Make America Think Again!”

We and many more will continue to be outraged, on guard, resilient and organized for the next four years. Indivisible.com and MoveOn.org have online information on where to find and how to work with a group nearest to you. Local legislators, you will come to know us well.
