A devil-worshipping “Breaking Bad” fan has committed suicide in a London prison two months after he was convicted of killing and dismembering a police officer in a high-profile case, according to reports Monday.
The body of cannibal killer Stefano Brizzi, 50, was discovered Sunday inside Belmarsh Prison in Thamesmead, England, The Sun reported.
Further details about his death were not immediately available.
In December, the crystal meth addict was slapped with a 24-year sentence for the savage slaying of Officer Gordon Semple, 59, in Brizzi’s London apartment.
He was hit with an additional seven-year term for obstructing a coroner when he tried to dissolve Semple’s corpse in an acid bath like the character Walter White in the hit AMC series.
Last April, Semple had arranged to meet with Brizzi through Grindr for drug-induced “hot, dirty, sleazy” sex, prosecutors said during the murder trial. Other guests also were invited to the soiree.
Prosecutor Crispin Aylet told the jury that Brizzi was in the process of strangling Semple when one of the guests showed up at his building, but was quickly turned away by Brizzi.
“We are having a situation here. Someone fell ill but we’re taking care of it. So our party is canceled,” Brizzi said over the intercom, prompting the guest to walk away.
Days later, neighbors contacted police after they were overcome by a “revolting smell” emanating from Brizzi’s apartment.
When cops responded, they found Brizzi wearing only sunglasses and underwear, as well as a bath full of acid with globs of flesh floating in it.
The former Morgan Stanley computer programmer was suspected of eating parts of the body because the victim’s DNA was found on his chopping board, a silver pot, inside a blender and on chopsticks.
Brizzi always maintained that Semple accidentally died during sadomasochistic sex.
