NEWARK — Based on the Devils’ lines at morning skate, defenseman John Moore could return to the Devils’ lineup on Monday.
Defenseman Kyle Quincey missed morning skate and was ruled out of Monday’s game against the Sabres with an upper body injury.
The Devils sent defenseman Karl Stollery to Albany on Sunday, leaving them with five other defensemen on the active roster. The Devils had Moore as the sixth defenseman at morning skate, opening the door for his first game since Dec. 31, when he suffered a concussion against the Washington Capitals.
Could Devils make play for Shattenkirk?
