He left NRG Stadium after the Patriots’ comeback for the ages against the Falcons having set eight Super Bowl records, and tied a ninth.
Brady became the first starting quarterback in NFL history to win five Super Bowls in the Patriots’ 34-28 overtime win over the Falcons, and just the second player in league history to win the game five times. He also set records for the most Super Bowls played and career and single-game pass attempts, completions and passing yards.
Brady also has now thrown the most touchdown passes in Super Bowl history.
