'Hamilton' tour singer flubs Canadian national anthem 0:0 Amber Iman botched the song before the Toronto Raptors’ game… The Raptors have won just three of their last 11 games, with two of those victories coming at the expense of the Nets. They managed Sunday’s cakewalk without DeMar DeRozan and Patrick Patterson, and with Kyle Lowry suffering with flu-like symptoms.
About the only thing they had to complain about was the anthem.
Amber Iman, a member of the national touring cast of “Hamilton,” botched the lyrics to “O Canada” so badly that the Raptors responded by tweaking the Nets on Twitter, patriotic Canadians started trolling Iman and she fired back on her Twitter account:
@MavMeyer1 I learned the melody while n 8 hr Hamilton rehearsals. The prompter failed, I did my best, while u watched from your couch. #Bye

Iman later added: “The Nets are apologizing to me for their error. It’s all love. Have a seat. I’m off to enjoy these FALCONS!”
Iman ad-libbed at several points, putting the word “Canada” in the wrong place and saying, “We sing our hearts for thee,” instead of, “We stand on guard for thee.”
Lowry took the high road. More On: brooklyn nets If Nets are going to kick the ball around, they have no chance All this losing is taking its toll on the Nets Nets youngsters overwhelmed in miserable outing Nets’ furious rally and new look eventually fall apart
“I’m going to leave that alone, but yeah, that anthem was a lot different than I’ve heard over the last five years … a lot different,” said Lowry, who had a triple-double with 15 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists. “Her voice was beautiful. But the anthem, the song, the words. … Have her come to Toronto, we’ll come and get somebody to give her some lessons.”
Lowry, on logging 39:21 despite being ill, shrugged.
“I played basketball for 40 minutes. I’m blessed and fortunate to be able to come out here and play basketball. I get to play basketball, I get to hang out with great people, I get to meet great people, I get to put smiles on kids’ faces. I mean, it’s a fun thing to do.”
Quincy Acy sprained his left ankle, appearing to roll it on the foot of Terrence Ross (17 points). He was helped off the court by his teammates, limited to just two minutes.
“I haven’t heard anything yet. Hopefully it’s not too bad,’’ coach Kenny Atkinson said.
Jeremy Lin (hamstring) was out, while Caris LeVert sat with mild knee soreness. The rookie expects to be fit for Tuesday in Charlotte.
“It was a little sore coming into the game so we decided it was best to just sit it out,’’ LeVert said. “It probably just got sore from playing hard in the game [Friday]. It wasn’t really anything too major; it was just a little sore.
“It was nagging a little bit and we took [Sunday] off and we have another one off [Monday]. We thought that would be enough rest the next game.”
