Deonte Burton hit seven 3-pointers and scored 29 points, Monte Morris added 25 and Iowa State rallied from a big halftime deficit to beat No. 3 Kansas 92-89 in overtime Saturday, ending the Jayhawks’ 51-game winning streak at Allen Fieldhouse.

Naz Mitrou-Long added six 3-pointers and 22 points for the Cyclones (14-8, 6-4 Big 12), who had a school-record 18 3-pointers while forcing the Jayhawks (20-3, 8-2) into 21 turnovers.

They also overcame a monster performance by the Jayhawks’ Frank Mason III, who had a career-best 32 points while going 9 of 11 from the field, 4 of 5 from beyond the arc and 10 of 12 at the free throw line.

Kansas State 56, No. 2 Baylor 54

Kamau Stokes scored 15 points and Kansas State held off a late rally to hand No. 2 Baylor its first home loss of the season, 56-54 on Saturday.

Stokes made both of the Wildcats’ field goals in the final 6:29, including a baseline jumper with 1:40 to go off an inbounds pass with 1 second left on the shot clock that made it 55-51.

Baylor’s Johnathan Motley missed two shots in the final seconds with a chance to tie the game, the latter of which was blocked by D.J. Johnson of the Wildcats (16-7, 5-5 Big 12) as time ran out and the Bears lost their second straight game.

Motley led Baylor (20-3, 7-3), which lost 73-68 at No. 3 Kansas on Wednesday, with 17 points and 14 rebounds, but he was 6 for 17 from the field.

Dean Wade added 12 points for the Wildcats and Wesley Iwundu had 10.

Manu Lecomte scored nine points for Baylor, but missed a midrange jumper with a chance to give the Bears the lead with 20 seconds left.

No. 13 Oregon 85, No. 5 Arizona 58

Tyler Dorsey scored 23 points, including six 3-pointers, and No. 13 Oregon snapped Arizona’s 15-game winning streak with a decisive 85-58 victory over the fifth-ranked Wildcats on Saturday.

Dillon Brooks added 18 points and four 3s as the Ducks (21-3, 10-1 Pac-12) extended their home winning streak to 40 games, an ongoing school record. Going into the game, it was the second-longest streak in the nation behind Kansas with 51, but the Jayhawks fell at home to Iowa State 92-89 in overtime earlier Saturday.

Oregon hit 16 3-pointers, most since opening Matthew Knight Arena in 2011.

Rawle Alkins had 16 points for the Wildcats (21-3, 10-1) in their worst loss under coach Sean Miller since they fell 99-69 to BYU on Dec. 28, 2009. Their 15-game winning streak was the third-longest streak in the nation.

Syracuse 66, No. 9 Virginia 62

Tyus Battle had a career-high 23 points and Andrew White also had 23 as host Syracuse rallied past No. 9 Virginia 66-62 on Saturday, its second win over a ranked team in eight days.

Syracuse (15-9, 7-4 Atlantic Coast Conference) extended its winning streak to four games and remained in the hunt for the postseason. The Orange beat Florida State 82-72 last Saturday.

Kyle Guy had 14 points for Virginia (17-5, 7-3 ACC), which failed to move into a tie with North Carolina for the conference lead.

The victory would have been the 1,000th for Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim, but the NCAA stripped him of 101 victories as part of punishment handed down in 2015 after a multiyear investigation of the school’s athletic department. That leaves Boeheim at 899, three shy of matching Bob Knight for second place all-time behind Duke’s Mike Krzyzewski.

Still, the fans toted placards to honor the moment, rushed the court and saluted him after the final horn, and he waved as he left the court that bears his name.

No. 23 Purdue 73, No. 17 Maryland 72

Carsen Edwards made two free throws with 2.1 seconds left, and No. 23 Purdue rallied to beat No. 17 Maryland 73-72 on Saturday in College Park, Md., and knock the Terrapins out of first place in the Big Ten.

After Purdue took a timeout to set up a play, Edwards was fouled on a drive to the basket and calmly sank both shots. Maryland freshman Kevin Huerter then hit the rim on a jumper from the corner, leaving Purdue to celebrate its first road win over a ranked opponent since 2013.

The Terrapins (20-3, 8-2) didn’t make a basket over the final 7 1/2 minutes, scoring their final 14 points at the free throw line — including 11 by Melo Trimble, who missed a jumper before Edwards made his two free throws.

Caleb Swanigan scored 26 points for the Boilermakers (19-5, 8-3), who trailed by 12 in the second half. Purdue has won five of six.

Trimble scored 22, going 4 for 15 from the field and 14 for 15 at the line. The loss ended the Terrapins’ seven-game winning streak and dropped them into second place in the conference behind Wisconsin, which plays on Sunday.
