Pennsylvania State Police found more than their suspect early Saturday in Bucks County.

Troopers from the Trevose station were serving a warrant for theft just before 7 a.m. on Route 13 in Bristol Township, about 20 miles northeast of Philadelphia. In plain view, they saw several pipe bombs and bomb-making materials, along with drugs, according to a news release.

The suspect, identified only as a 47-year-old man from Washington Crossing, Pa., was taken into custody peacefully, police said.

The state police hazardous device and explosives section and forensic services unit were called in to secure the scene, police said. The investigation is ongoing.
