Police are investigating a hate crime after a window was broken out and stickers with derogatory messages were left on the front door of synagogue in the Loop neighborhood.
Shortly before 12:30 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to a place of worship located in the first block of South Clark Street. A window was broken out and several stickers had been place on the front door.
Initially, police were conducting a property damage investigating but the incident is now being investigated as a hate crime.
