An officer was struck by a vehicle and dragged during a traffic stop early Saturday morning on the West Side, police said.
Shortly before 1:30 a.m., an officer curbed a female driving in the 5400 block of West Harrison Street. The driver hit the officer with her vehicle and dragged the officer before fleeing, police said.
The officer was taken to Rush University Hospital, and listed in good condition.
Police were investigating.
