Two 15-year-old boys were killed, and two men were wounded in city shootings since late Friday afternoon.

The first boy was shot to death about 5:10 p.m. Friday in the 11400 block of South Stewart Avenue in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side, police said.

Police said the boy was walking when a gray-colored Pontiac pulled up and someone inside fired multiple shots.

The boy suffered wounds to the head, chest and abdomen. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The second 15-year-old boy was shot walking through a park about 3:30 a.m. Saturday in the 2100 block of East 97th Street in the South Deering neighborhood, police said. 

According to police reports, the boy heard several shots and felt pain in his upper chest. He ran to a nearby residence where paramedics were alerted. He was taken in critical condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he was pronounced dead at 4:15 a.m., police said.

About 5:30 a.m. Saturday, a 23-year-old man was shot while he was driving in the 7900 block of South Phillips Avenue in the South Chicago neighborhood, police said.

According to preliminary reports, the victim was driving south on Phillips when a northbound blue-colored SUV approached and someone opened fire, striking him in the leg, police said.

The man was taken in good condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Friday night, a 19-year-old man was shot shortly after 10 p.m. on the  Southeast Side in the 11200 block of South Avenue G, police said.

The victim was walking when he heard shots and felt pain in a right finger. He drove himself to Advocate Trinity Hospital where his condition was stabilized, police said.

No one was in custody in any of the attacks, and police were investigating.
