Update: Kings right wing Tyler Toffoli could play for the first time since he suffered a lower-body injury in a Dec. 20 game against the Columbus Blue Jackets. If he doesn’t play Saturday, he could play Sunday against the Capitals in Washington. He sat out for the 20th consecutive game Wednesday, a 5-0 rout of the Colorado Avalanche. … Goaltender Jonathan Quick skated Friday with the Kings for the second consecutive day, his first on-ice workouts with teammates since he injured his groin in the first period of the season-opening game Oct. 12 at San Jose. Quick isn’t expected to play again until March, however. Peter Budaj is expected to face the Flyers and perhaps the Capitals, too. Budaj is 24-14-3 with a 2.01 goals-against average, a .922 save percentage and six shutouts in 44 games in place of Quick. … The Kings (26-21-4) have won four consecutive games. … Wayne Simmonds, a former Kings right wing who was the MVP of the All-Star Game on Sunday at Staples Center, has 21 goals and 38 points for the Flyers (26-20-6). … Right wing Jakob Voracek leads Philadelphia with 45 points, including 31 assists.
