CLEVELAND, Ohio – Friday’s snow flurries should clear out by early evening, and it looks like Northeast Ohio is in the clear for accumulating snow this weekend, with only very slight chances of flurries on Sunday. The next chance for wintry mix showers is late Monday night.
However, don’t expect a break from winter just yet, because temperatures will still be pretty bitter, especially Friday night and Saturday. Sunday and Monday can expect a bit of a warm up, with high temperatures reaching nearly 40 degrees.

The How
High pressure will dominate the weather through Saturday. This will bring precipitation chances to less than 10 percent, because high pressure dries the air out significantly, meaning shower development is difficult. A weak cold front on Sunday could spark some flurries, but nothing is expected to stick.
A passing low pressure Monday night will spark some wintry mix showers, starting at the earliest 9 p.m.
