EGG HARBOR TWP — A man was hospitalized with head injuries Wednesday after an SUV ran a red light and crashed into his car, police said.
The 43-year-old driver of the car had to be cut free from his Infinity G35 after the crash on the Black Horse Pike, Egg Harbor Township police said.
A Ford Escape driving westbound on Spruce Avenue failed to stop at the red light for the Black Horse Pike and struck the car, sending it into a utility pole, police said.
Both drivers suffered head injuries, though the Escape driver was treated at the scene.
Police are investigating the crash.
