CLEVELAND, Ohio – You could wake up to a few morning snow flurries today in Cleveland, but by late morning skies should just remain overcast. By late afternoon, the sun may even peek out of the clouds a little bit for Groundhog Day.

Make sure to dress extra warm too, because a blast of Arctic air is dropping morning wind chills into the teens, and below 10 degrees after 6 p.m.

The How:

Lingering moisture from a cold front that passed Wednesday evening could spark a few very light snow flurries in the early morning. High pressure will build late morning from west to east, drying the air out significantly, meaning no more snow showers. However, since this high pressure system will remain to the north, and winds blow clockwise around its center, this will bring in bitter temperatures from the north.
