Former Chicago Sky center Erika de Souza signed with the San Antonio Stars, the team announced Wednesday.

"Hello, Stars fans! I’m happy to be by your side now. #backtothewest #LetsGoStars," de Souza tweeted.

The three-time WNBA All-Star and 11-year veteran entered Wednesday’s opening day for signings as an unrestricted free agent. Her departure from Chicago comes as the Sky reportedly have reached an agreement that would bring Washington Mystics center Stefanie Dolson in trade for franchise star Elena Delle Donne.

Sources say Mystics guard Kahleah Copper and the second overall pick in April’s draft would be included in that package along with Dolson.

The Sky acquired de Souza from the Atlanta Dream via a three-way trade in July 2015, when former Sky center Sylvia Fowles forced the the team to send her to the Minnesota Lynx by sitting out half the season.

Last season, de Souza, who turns 35 in March, averaged 5.8 points and 5.2 rebounds while playing 16.6 minutes per game.
