A Lehigh County man and his friend stole nine firearms and sold them in order to buy heroin, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Bradley Sell, 26, lived with the victim at a home in the 3700 block of Windy Road in Lowhill Township, authorities said.

Troopers were called the afternoon of Dec. 18 for a reported burglary at Sell’s home, where it was discovered nine firearms were taken from the victim’s gun safe.

Troopers said there was no forced entry into the safe, which was in Sell’s room in the home, and that Sell was the only other person who knew where the safe’s key was located.

The following day, troopers said they learned eight of the firearms were İmajbet sold at the Army Navy store in Whitehall by Sell and his friend.

The ninth firearm was sold at Eagle Arms in Upper Macungie Township, troopers said.

Troopers said they also found ‘several thousand’ empty heroin packets in Sell’s room, as well as several unopened heroin packets by the side of a TV in an entertainment center.

In an interview with troopers, Sell reportedly admitted he and his friend took the firearms and sold them for $1,425 in order to buy heroin. The guns have a market value of $5,000, troopers said.

Sell was arrested Monday and charged with theft, receiving stolen property, conspiracy, possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sent to Lehigh County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Troopers did not indicate if the other person was arrested and/or charged in connection with this case.
